Cast Grows for New Film in Rome

Yesterday we reported that Penelope Cruz would be reuniting with Woody (after Vicky Christina Barcelona) for the film which he will shoot in Rome this Summer. Joining Penelope will be Ellen Page, star of Juno, and more recently, Inception.


Jesse Eisenberg 'Liked' the script, and is due to star as what will probably be the male lead. They will all be joined by whichever Baldwin has a valid passport, which seems to be Alec at the time of going to press...

Penelope Cruz to Star in Next Woody

Penelope Cruz has confirmed that she will be appearing in Woody Allen's 2012 film, which will be filmed this year in Rome. The actress previously worked with our hero in 2008's Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which she won the Sexiest Actress Oscar (or something). She illuminated everyone by saying: "Because he's very secretive. It's a movie with Woody Allen. But I really cannot say anything about the story or the characters."

Coincidentally, her current movie, 'Pirates of the Caribbean 17: Can You Believe This All Came From A Stupid Disney Ride?' opens next month, on the same day as Woody's 'Midnight in Paris'.
